Hi, I’m Ratish Jha, a Freedom Lifestyle Coach and Digital Growth Mentor. My mission is simple: to help people escape the 9–5 grind — what I call the JOB – “Just Over Broke” — and create a life of money, time, and location independence.

I believe working in a job is the slowest and most limiting way to earn money. Instead, I’ve discovered smarter paths:

• Creating digital assets like courses and PDFs

These strategies allow anyone to build passive income and break free from the traditional system.

Like many, I once followed the conventional path of doing a job. But over the years, I’ve embraced personal branding, affiliate marketing, and online course creation. Today, I not only generate income through these methods, but I also teach beginners who feel stuck in jobs how they too can quit and design a freedom lifestyle.

My Early Life and the 9–5 Struggle

Before starting my digital journey, I was living what felt like a life of hell. Even today, I’m still in a job, but I’m in a transition period, working my way toward complete freedom.

My job ran on a changing shift system — sometimes full-day, sometimes full-night. It left me exhausted, with no energy and no real time for myself or my family. Some months, I was just able to pay my bills. Other times, even that became difficult.

With no freedom of choice, I had no time for personal growth, mental nourishment, or even quality moments with my wife and children. I realized the job system was designed to keep us dependent, where you exchange time for money, but never really move forward.

And that’s when I understood something very important: time is far more valuable than money. Money can be earned back, but once time is gone, it’s gone forever.

That thought became my turning point. I asked myself: Do I want to live like this for the rest of my life? Or do I want to design a lifestyle where no one controls me?

That moment set me on the path to seek something better — a life of true freedom.

Discovering Digital Growth with YouTube & Affiliate Marketing

YouTube has always been a big part of my life. Back in college, I spent countless hours binge-watching educational lectures from IIT and MIT. At first, I looked at YouTube only as a source of ad revenue through the Partner Program. Like many beginners, I thought the only way to earn money was through monetization.

But over time, I realized that YouTube is far more powerful than that. It’s not just about ad money — it’s a free marketing platform where you can build your personal brand, promote affiliate products, and even sell your own courses. Once I learned to ride the YouTube algorithm instead of fearing it, everything changed.

The real turning point came when I combined YouTube with affiliate marketing. In July 2025, I promoted a learning management system called Communi. One day, out of nowhere, I received my first automatic affiliate commission of ₹15,000 from someone I had never met. That one sale proved the power of this system.

From there, every video I created started generating sales. The momentum pushed me to record my first online course, which quickly became a lighthouse for beginners who wanted to follow the same path.

And then came the light bulb moment: when my digital income doubled my monthly salary, I realized that this wasn’t just a side hustle. It was proof that digital income could surpass traditional job income. That’s when I knew — YouTube and affiliate marketing weren’t just opportunities, they were the future of financial freedom.

Lessons Learned on My Digital Journey

When I first started, I was full of self-doubt and impostor syndrome. I kept asking myself: “Everyone fails on YouTube, why would I succeed?”

My doubts piled up:

• My voice quality wasn’t good enough.
• I didn’t have a fancy camera or clear mic.
• I couldn’t script or record videos the way professionals did.
• I didn’t have a studio setup like others.

Even when I started getting thousands of views, the monetization money was only a few dollars. I felt like a failure, and there were moments when I thought, “Maybe YouTube isn’t for me.”

But everything changed when I made my first affiliate sale — completely automatically, from someone I didn’t even know. That was my first real breakthrough, and it showed me the power of content.

From there, the sales kept coming in, and I doubled down on what worked. Without spending a single rupee on ads, I was earning real income — and eventually teaching the same strategies to my students.

My Biggest Lessons for Beginners

1. Start with the Farmer’s Mindset
   Content is like seeds. Some will grow, some won’t. But if you keep sowing consistently, the compounded results will come.
2. Patience is Everything
   YouTube doesn’t reward you overnight. For example, I uploaded a video in May — but it only started giving me sales in July. That delay taught me to trust the process.
3. Consistency Wins
   Pick a niche. Stick to it. Post videos regularly. Frequency and focus matter more than perfection.
4. Answer the Right Questions
   Success comes when you provide real solutions. Be authentic, answer your audience’s problems, and the right people will find you.

Advice to My Younger Self

If I could go back in time, I’d tell myself:
“Start creating content as soon as possible. Don’t wait for the perfect mic, camera, or setup. Just focus on giving value, because you never know who needs your answer or your solution.”

My Vision and Mission

Right now, my mission is to help thousands of beginners escape the 9–5 grind — whether it’s a government job or a private job. I believe that working in a job only gives you linear growth — 2x, maybe 3x at best. But in the digital world, you can grow 10x or more. That’s why I encourage everyone to begin their digital freedom journey.

I don’t just see myself as a coach. I see myself as a support system, someone who offers genuine hand-holding support to beginners. My strength is walking side by side with my students, guiding them step by step until they succeed.

I’m also building a global community of creators and entrepreneurs who believe in the three core freedoms:

• Time Freedom
• Money Freedom
• Location Freedom

These are not privileges — they are birthrights. And no one should hand over these rights to a boss, a company, or a job system.

In the next five years, I want the name Ratish Jha to become a trusted brand in YouTube mastery, affiliate marketing, and digital growth. I want to expand my courses, grow my communities, and impact millions of lives by showing people how to design a better life.

My students know how much effort I put in when I teach, and that trust drives me forward. I can’t go back now — I’m fired up with action, and I will keep doing better.
